At 715 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Rainbow Flowage, or 11 miles west of Eagle River, moving northeast at 60 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. At 709 PM, dime size hail was reported in Lake Tomahawk. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees. This severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of south central Vilas and north central Oneida Counties, including the following locations... Sayner, East Star Lake Campground, Buffalo Lake Campground, Plum Lake Campground, Star Lake, Cunard Lake Campground, St Germain, West Star Lake Campground, Clear Lake Campground, and Razorback Lake Campground.
