Description:
At 736 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 10
miles southeast of Bevent, or 18 miles northeast of Stevens Point,
moving east at 40 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and penny size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Stevens Point, Whiting, Plover, Stockton, Marion, Pella, Tigerton,
Jordan, Rosholt, and Bowler.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM CDT for central and
northeastern Wisconsin.
