Description: 
At 955 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Chippewa Falls to near Augusta to 6 miles southwest of Black River Falls. Movement was northeast at 45 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE...Automated weather observations. At 943 pm, a wind gust of 53 mph was observed in Eau Claire. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Strong thunderstorms will be near... Black River Falls, Merrillan, Alma Center, Price, and Humbird around 1000 PM CDT. Hatfield around 1010 PM CDT. Neillsville and Thorp around 1020 PM CDT. Greenwood and Shortville around 1025 PM CDT. Loyal and Owen around 1030 PM CDT. Other locations impacted by these storms include Franklin, Highway 73 And 98, The Black River Correctional Center, Atwood, Tioga, Lynn, Perry Creek Recreation Area, North Branch, Eidsvold, and Longwood. This includes Interstate 94 between mile markers 92 and 122.
