Description:
* WHAT...Low temperatures of 20 to 24 degrees, with colder
temperatures of 15 to 20 degrees possible in snow-covered areas
above 6,000 feet.
* WHERE...Green Mountains and Rattlesnake Range, Lander Foothills,
Natrona County Lower Elevations, Upper Wind River Basin, and Wind
River Basin.
* WHEN...From 9 PM Monday evening to 9 AM MDT Tuesday.
* IMPACTS...Frost and freeze conditions could kill crops, other
sensitive vegetation and possibly damage unprotected outdoor
plumbing.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Overnight lows could be a few degrees warmer
if cloud cover does not clear early Tuesday. Sub-freezing
temperatures would still occur.
Instruction:
Take steps now to protect tender plants from the cold.
To prevent water pipes from freezing, wrap or drain water lines.
