The National Weather Service in Cheyenne has issued a * Snow Squall Warning for... East central Carbon County in south central Wyoming... * Until 515 PM MDT. * At 422 PM MDT, a dangerous snow squall was located along a line extending from 8 miles east of Hanna to near Bow River Campground, moving east at 25 mph. HAZARD...Intense bursts of heavy snow. Gusty winds leading to blowing snow and visibility rapidly falling to less than one-quarter mile. Wind gusts greater than 50 mph could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. SOURCE...Radar and webcams. IMPACT...Travel will become difficult and potentially dangerous within minutes. This includes Interstate 80 in Wyoming between mile markers 243 and 281. Locations impacted include... Elk Mountain, Arlington, and McFadden.
