The National Weather Service in Phoenix has issued a
* Flash Flood Warning for...
Pinal County in southeastern Arizona...
* Until 1230 AM MST.
* At 936 PM MST, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated
thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between
0.25 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall
amounts of 0.25 to 1 inch are possible in the warned area. Flash
flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing
flash flooding.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

Apache Junction, Gold Canyon, Queen Valley, Florence Junction, Gold
Camp and Kings Ranch.

Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
