Apache County in northeastern Arizona... * Until 715 PM MST. * At 415 PM MST, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 0.5 and 1.75 inches of rain have fallen. The expected rainfall rate is 1 to 2 inches in 1 hour. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1.25 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, normally dry washes, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses. * Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... McNary, Vernon, Concho, Greens Peak, Cerro Montoso Peak, Concho Lake, Lions Park and Little Ortega Lake. This includes the following highways... State Route 260 between mile markers 361 and 368.
