Ouray County Sheriff is issuing an EVACUATION order for LOWER COW CREEK, east of CR12 and 12A to Owl Creek Pass US Forest Boundary on North, East and South. All individuals in this area should EVACUATE due to the Gold Mtn Fire. Do not delay. Leave Immediately. Evac center/shelter at Ridgway High School. The Ouray County Sheriff is issuing an EVAC order for the area of Lower Cow Creek NE of Ridgway. This is the area east of County Road (CR) 12 and CR 12A to the US Forest Service Boundary on Owl Creek Pass to the East and Owl Creek Pass (CR8) to the North by Cow Creek and south to the US Forest Service Boundary by Cow Creek. Residents and visitors camping or hiking in the area must EVACUATE NOW.
