East central Pueblo County in southeastern Colorado...
* Until 615 PM MDT.
* At 523 PM MDT, a confirmed tornado was located 1.5 miles west of
Fowler, or 27 miles west of La Junta, moving south at 30 mph.
Video has confirmed that this tornado is in progress.
HAZARD...Damaging tornado and hail up to three inches in diameter.
SOURCE...Law enforcement confirmed tornado.
IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree
damage is likely.
* This tornadic thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
northwestern Otero, southwestern Crowley and east central Pueblo
Counties.

basement or an interior room on the lowest floor of a sturdy
