Ouray County Alerts- Gold Mountain Fire - Zone 31-Prepare for Evacuation The Ouray County Sheriffs Office is placing Zone 31 on the Evacuation Map into a Pre-Evacuation Status at this time. East of Hwy 550 from CR 8A north to CR 4 and east to Cimarron Ridge and US Forest Boundary. View the Evacuation Map at OurayCountyCO.gov. All individuals in this area should PREPARE for future evacuations. An evacuation order could come at any time. The Evacuation Map is visible online at OurayCountyCO.gov - click on the Evacuation map link on the homepage. There is currently NOT an evacuation order in place for this zone. You are advised there may be an evacuation order in the future and you should start preparing in event an evacuation order is issued. Fire and law enforcement personnel are working in this area to provide specific information about when to leave.
