* Until 730 PM MDT.
* At 422 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the warned area. Between 0.6 and 1 inch of rain
has fallen. The expected rainfall rate is 2 to 4 inches in 1 hour.
Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms
producing flash flooding.

urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

Lewis, Lebanon, Arriola and Yellow Jacket, including areas along
Highway 491 between Cahone and Cortez.
Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Low water crossings in mountainous terrain can become dangerous in
heavy rain. Do not attempt to cross flooded roads. Find an alternate
route.
