Description:
At 858 PM MDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line from 20
miles north of Roundup to near Roundup, moving east at 35 mph.
THESE ARE DESTRUCTIVE STORMS FOR NORTHERN MUSSELSHELL COUNTY.
HAZARD...80 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be heavily damaged. Expect
considerable damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles.
Extensive tree damage and power outages are likely.
Locations impacted include...
Roundup and Klein.
Instruction:
Seek shelter now inside an interior room on the lowest floor of a
well-built structure. These storms are capable of producing
widespread destructive winds and large hail.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
