Northwestern El Paso County in western Texas... * Until 930 PM MDT. * At 804 PM MDT, Thunderstorms with torrential rainfall are moving into the lower Mesilla Valley and Northwest El Paso. Rainfall rates are exceeding 3 inches per hour at times. Nearly 1.5 inches of rain has fallen near La Union and Chamberino. HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding. SOURCE...Radar. IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of arroyos, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses. * Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Chamberino, Northwest El Paso, Anthony, Santa Teresa, Canutillo, La Union, Vinton, Westway, Chamberino, Union Pacific Intermodal Terminal.
