* At 1227 AM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over East De
Kalb, moving southeast at 55 mph.
THIS IS A DESTRUCTIVE STORM FOR DE PEYSTEN AND DE KALB
HAZARD...Three inch hail and 70 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be severely injured.
Expect shattered windows, extensive damage to roofs,
siding, and vehicles.

Rensselaer Falls, Richville, Hermon Village, Canton Village, De
Peyster, Clare, Colton, Pierrepont, Hermon, Clifton, De Kalb,
Russell, Edwards, Fine, Canton, Pitcairn, Gouverneur, Piercefield,
Macomb, and Fowler.
Instruction:
This is a dangerous storm. Prepare immediately for large destructive
hail capable of producing significant damage. People outside should
move to shelter inside a strong building, and stay away from windows.

Large hail, damaging wind, and continuous cloud to ground lightning
are occurring with this storm. Move indoors immediately. Lightning is
