Mason County in west central Texas... * Until 1015 AM CDT. * At 715 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Up to 3 inches of rain have fallen since 4 AM. Rainfall rates of 1 to 3 inches per hour will continue, bringing some totals by later this morning to well over 6 inches. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding. SOURCE...Radar indicated.
