Description:
At 703 PM EDT/603 PM CDT/, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of
strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Cuthbert to
near West Bainbridge. These storms were nearly stationary.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Abbeville, Colquitt, Fort Gaines, Morgan, Georgetown, Blakely,
Cuthbert, Bainbridge, Donalsonville, Edison, Arlington, Columbia,
West Bainbridge, Douglasville, Centerville, Attapulgus, Iron City,
Climax, Damascus, and Brinson.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
