Description: 
At 621 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Geneva to 8 miles northeast of De Funiak Springs to 7 miles northwest of Eglin Air Force Base. Movement was east at 35 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... De Funiak Springs, Geneva, Hartford, Slocomb, Eglin Air Force Base, Union, Malvern, Ponce De Leon, Caryville, Esto, Westville, Noma, Black, Oakwood Hills, Kellys Crossroads, Cerrogordo, Gritney, Glendale, Light, and Izagora.
Instruction: 
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways. These storms may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio stations and available television stations for additional information and possible warnings from the National Weather Service. A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM CDT for southeastern Alabama...and the Panhandle of Florida.
