Perdido River Near Barrineau Park affecting Baldwin and Escambia
Counties.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring.
* WHERE...Perdido River near Barrineau Park.
* WHEN...Until late tonight.
* IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, river begins to leave its banks at the
parking lot of Adventures Perdido River. Begins to threaten several
permanently parked travel trailers. Water approaches roadway of
Barrineau Park Bridge.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 9:00 PM CDT Sunday the stage was 13.2 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending
at 9:00 PM CDT Sunday was 17.5 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage late
this evening and continue falling to 6.1 feet Friday evening.
- Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars
through flooded areas.
