Description:
An area of extremely heavy rainfall will move through much of Pike
county over the next hour. This will create dangerous driving
conditions and some minor overflow in local streams and drainages
will be possible.
* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive
rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...A portion of central Alabama, including the following
county, Pike.
* WHEN...Until 230 PM CDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Water over roadways. Ponding of water in urban or other areas is
occurring or is imminent.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 1230 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain. This will
cause urban and small stream flooding.
- Rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are expected over the area.
This additional rain will result in minor flooding.

Troy, Brundidge, Goshen, Banks, Troy University, Troy
Municipal Airport, Antioch, Linwood, Ansley, Kent, Mossy
Grove, Springhill, Orion, Henderson, Brundidge Municipal
Airport, China Grove and Hamilton Crossroads.
Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
