Description:
At 658 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Moores Mill, moving west at 5 mph, with a separate storm of similar
intensity located midway between New Market and Skyline.
HAZARD...Wind gusts of 40-50 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Huntsville, Moores Mill, Meridianville, Gurley, Alabama A And M
University, Maysville, Princeton, Ryland, Hollytree, and Brownsboro.
Instruction:

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 800 PM CDT for
north central and northeastern Alabama.
