At 257 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 8
miles east of Tishomingo State Park, moving north at 20 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Cherokee, Pleasant Site, Malone, Mynot, Mt Hester, Margerum, Srygley
Church, Allsboro, Maud, and Barton.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
