Description:
At 502 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms along a line extending from near Putnam to near
Thomasville. Movement was northeast at 15 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Sweet Water, Putnam, Wayne, Surginer, Shawnee, Nanafalia, Dixons
Mill, Vineland, Clayhill, and Nicholsville.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
