At 227 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over West Chambers, or 7 miles southwest of Lafayette, moving east at 35 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Auburn, Opelika, Dadeville, Camp Hill, Lafayette, La Fayette, Waverly, Lakeview, Cusseta, Chambers County Lake, Denson, Huguley, Sturkie, Oak Bowery, Trammel Crossroads, Ridge Grove, Still Waters Resort, Buffalo, West Chambers, and Southern Lake Martin.
