Winston County in northwestern Alabama...
* Until 330 PM CDT.
* At 241 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Moreland, or
11 miles northwest of Arley, moving west at 20 mph.
HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable
tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes,
roofs, and outbuildings.

Haleyville, Lynn, Arley, Double Springs, Houston Recreational Area,
Brushy Lake, Ashridge, Corinth Rec Area, Needmore, Moreland,
Winston Free State Barn, Smith Lake, Houston, Natural Bridge, Posey
Field Airport, Hullett Branch, Clear Creek, Winston County Airport,
Cane Creek, and Pebble.

This is a DANGEROUS SITUATION. This storm is capable of producing
widespread wind damage across Winston County. SEEK SHELTER NOW

Large hail, damaging wind, and continuous cloud to ground lightning
are occurring with this storm. Move indoors immediately. Lightning is
one of nature's leading killers. Remember, if you can hear thunder,
you are close enough to be struck by lightning.
Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
