* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Northern Cochise County in southeastern Arizona... * WHEN...Until 815 PM MST. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Overflowing poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 509 PM MST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.5 and 1.2 inches of rain have fallen. - This includes the following streams and drainages... Walnut Wash, Dragoon Wash, San Pedro River, West Whitetail Creek, Happy Camp Wash, Tres Alamos Wash, San Simon River, O B Draw, Fivemile Creek, Pinery Creek, Big Sand Wash, Slavin Wash, Wood Canyon, Turkey Creek, Gold Gulch and Witch Creek. Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Willcox, Bowie, Dragoon, Pearce-Sunsites, Chiricahua National Monument, Cochise, Kansas Settlement and Texas Canyon. - This includes the following highways... Route 181 between mile markers 55 and 64. Route 191 between mile markers 47 and 88. Interstate 10 between mile markers 315 and 378.
