Description:
At 527 PM MST, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated
thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the Benson area. Between
1.75 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of
0.25 to 0.5 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is
ongoing with multiple reports of flooded streets in Benson as of 525
PM MST.
HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing
flash flooding.

Route 90 between mile markers 290 and 293. Route 80 between mile
markers 293 and 295. Interstate 10 between mile markers 302 and 309.
Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
