Description:
At 633 PM MST, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated
thunderstorms producing heavy rain in Benson. Between 2 and 3 inches
of rain have fallen. Flash flooding is already occurring with
multiple reports of flooded streets in Benson as of 600 PM MST.
HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing
flash flooding.

areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

This includes the following highways...
Route 90 between mile markers 290 and 293. Route 80 between mile
markers 293 and 295. Interstate 10 between mile markers 302 and 309.
Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
