Description:
At 507 PM MST, a river gauge on Sycamore Creek near Dugas reported a
rapid rise of about 4 feet in 30 minutes feet from heavy rain
upstream. Flash flooding is ongoing along Sycamore Creek and will
continue moving downstream toward the Agua Fria.
HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing
flash flooding.
SOURCE...River gauge reported.
IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
normally dry washes, urban areas, highways, streets and
underpasses.

Cienega Creek, South Prong Sycamore Creek, Ash Creek, Big Bug
Creek, Dry Creek, Little Sycamore Creek, Indian Creek, Silver
Creek, Little Ash Creek, Sycamore Creek and Agua Fria River.
Instruction:
Flooding of washes and creeks will occur, some dirt roads will become
muddy and impassable. Paved roads and underpasses could become
flooded as well.
Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
Stay away or be swept away! The banks of creeks and washes are
unstable and unsafe during any flooding event.
