Description: 
At 1217 AM MST, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated thunderstorms produced heavy rain across the Douglas area. Between 0.5 and 1 inch of rain has fallen. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Radar and automated gauges. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Douglas, Bisbee-Douglas Airport and Pirtleville. This includes the following highways... Route 80 between mile markers 356 and 388. Route 191 between mile markers 1 and 9. This includes the following streams and drainages... Black Draw, Silver Creek, Cottonwood Creek, Mulberry Canyon, Whitewater Draw and Danger Wash.
Instruction: 
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding.
