South Central Pima County in southeastern Arizona... * Until 800 PM MST. * At 455 PM MST, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area, extending from the Arivaca area northward along Highway 286. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen in the Arivaca area Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1.5 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. * Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Arivaca and Sasabe. This includes Route 286 between mile markers 1 and 39. This includes the following Flash Flood Prone Locations... Arivaca Rd from Arivaca Junction & HWY 286.
