Description: 
At 632 PM MST, local law enforcement reported thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 2.5 inches of rain have fallen. Flash flooding is already occurring. Santa Cruz River and washes have flow and will continue travel downstream in the warn area. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Law enforcement reported. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Tubac, Rio Rico, Nogales International Airport, Tumacacori, Amado and Kino Springs. This includes the following highways... Interstate 19 between mile markers 13 and 26. Route 82 between mile markers 4 and 8. This includes the following Flash Flood Prone Locations... Pendleton Dr at Sonoita Creek. This includes the following streams and drainages... Josephine Canyon, Sonoita Creek, Santa Cruz River and Potrero Creek.
Instruction: 
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
