* Flash Flood Warning for...
Soap Creek along US-89A in Coconino County in north central
Arizona...
* Until 930 PM MST /1030 PM MDT/.
* At 634 PM MST /734 PM MDT/, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms
producing heavy rain along Soap Creek near Cliff Dwellers. Between
0.75 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall
amounts up to 0.5 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash
flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing
flash flooding.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
normally dry washes, urban areas, highways, streets and
underpasses.

Instruction:
Flooding of washes and creeks will occur, some dirt roads will become
muddy and impassable. Paved roads and underpasses could become
flooded as well.
Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
Stay away or be swept away! The banks of creeks and washes are
unstable and unsafe during any flooding event.
