Description:
At 802 PM MST /902 PM MDT/, Doppler radar indicated that the heavy
rainfall had ended over Soap Creek. Flooding will remain a threat
from earlier thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned
area. Between 0.75 and 1.75 inches of rain have fallen. Flooding
impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is expected. Flash
flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing
flash flooding.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
normally dry washes, urban areas, highways, streets and
underpasses.

Instruction:
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
Stay away or be swept away! The banks of creeks and washes are
unstable and unsafe during any flooding event.
