Apache County in northeastern Arizona... * Until 500 PM MDT. * At 204 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 0.5 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, normally dry washes, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses. * Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Ganado, Kinlichee and Wood Springs. This includes State Route 264 between mile markers 446 and 447...and between mile markers 457 and 464. This includes the following creeks, washes and rivers...
