Description:
At 505 PM MST, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy
rain across the warned area. Between 1.5 and 2.5 inches of rain have
fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are possible in
the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
drainage and low-lying areas.

Route 191 between mile markers 93 and 113. Route 70 between mile
markers 354 and 363. Route 266 between mile markers 105 and 114.
This includes the following streams and drainages...
Gillespie Wash, Jacobson Creek, Stockton Wash, Willow Spring Wash,
Whitlock Wash, Owl Wash, Slick Rock Wash, Oak Draw, Dial Wash, San
Simon River, Marijilda Wash, Noon Creek, Hot Well Draw, W A Wash,
Twilight Creek and Gold Gulch.
Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Flooding is occurring or is imminent. It is important to know where
you are relative to streams, rivers, or creeks which can become
killers in heavy rains. Campers and hikers should avoid streams or
creeks.
