Description:
At 242 PM MST, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy
rain over the Washington Fire scar. Between 0.5 and 1.25 inches of
rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.25 inches are
possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to
begin shortly.
HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing
flash flooding in and around the Washington Fire scar.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of areas in and around the
Washington Fire scar.

This includes the following recreation areas and campgrounds...
Shadow Rim Ranch.
Instruction:
Flash flooding is occurring or imminent downstream of the Washington
Fire scar, including areas along Chase Creek, Shadow Rim Ranch and
Shadow Rim Road. Campers and hikers should move to higher ground
immediately! Stay away from creeks and washes!
