Yavapai County in west central Arizona between Camp Verde and
Cordes Lakes...
* Until 300 PM MST.
* At 229 PM MST, a severe thunderstorm was located over Flower Pot,
or 10 miles southwest of Camp Verde, moving northwest at 5 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.
* Locations impacted include...
Flower Pot, Dugas, Cedar Bench Wilderness and Cedar Mill.
This includes Interstate 17 between mile markers 270 and 280.
Instruction:
Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. This storm is capable of producing damaging winds and large
hail.
