Maricopa County in south central Arizona...
Pinal County in southeastern Arizona...
* Until 700 PM MST.
* At 607 PM MST, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Queen Valley to 7 miles south of Florence
Junction, moving northwest at 20 mph.
HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to
mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.
* Locations impacted include...
Apache Junction, Gold Canyon, Florence Junction, Queen Valley,
Superstition Mountains, Gold Camp, Kings Ranch, and Lost Dutchman
State Park.
This includes the following highways...
US Highway 60 between mile markers 199 and 222.
AZ Route 79 between mile markers 140 and 150.
Instruction:

building.
Large hail, damaging wind, and continuous cloud to ground lightning
are occurring with these storms. Move indoors immediately. Lightning
is one of nature's leading killers. Remember, if you can hear
thunder, you are close enough to be struck by lightning.
Torrential rainfall is occurring with these storms, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
