Description:
At 730 PM MST, a severe thunderstorm was located 10 miles northwest
of Benson, moving west at 15 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and small hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Benson, Vail, Saguaro National Park East and Mescal.
This includes the following highways...
Route 90 between mile markers 290 and 297. Interstate 10 between mile
markers 282 and 305. Route 83 between mile markers 52 and 58.
Instruction:
Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. This storm is capable of producing damaging winds.
Continuous cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
