Description:
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...Portions of East Arkansas, including the following county,
Crittenden and West Tennessee, including the following county,
Shelby.
* WHEN...Until 645 PM CDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Water over roadways.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 341 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain
have fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected
over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
flooding.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Bartlett, Germantown, West Memphis, Marion, Memphis, Sunset,
Downtown Memphis, Midtown Memphis, Frayser, Ellendale, Bridge
Junction, Benjestown, St Clair, Mound City, Briark, Redman
Point, Presidents Island, Blanton, Woodstock and Gammon.
