Description:
* WHAT...Surf of 3 to 5 feet with sets to 6 feet on south-
southwest facing beaches. Strong rip currents expected.
* WHERE...San Diego County Coastal Areas and Orange County
Coastal Areas.
* WHEN...through Thursday evening.
* IMPACTS...Hazardous swimming conditions. Localized minor tidal
overflow possible in the evenings during high tide when surf
heights are 6 feet.
Instruction:
A beach hazards statement for elevated surf means that waves will
be high enough to cause danger to inexperienced swimmers.
Strong rip currents can drag people away from the shore and
possibly result in drowning. Always swim near a lifeguard.
