Description: 
* WHAT...Dangerous rip currents and breaking waves with elevated surf expected. Minor coastal flooding possible. An isolated lightning strike possible today. * WHERE...Coastal areas and beaches of Los Angeles, Ventura, Santa Barbara, and San Luis Obispo Counties. * WHEN...Through Wednesday evening. * IMPACTS...There is an increased risk of ocean drowning. Rip currents can pull swimmers and surfers out to sea. Waves can wash people off beaches and rocks, and capsize small boats nearshore. Lightning strikes can harm individuals. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Southerly swell combined with abnormally high tides of 7.0 to 7.5 feet will bring the potential for minor coastal flooding in low-lying areas in the evening.
Instruction: 
Remain out of the water due to hazardous swimming conditions, or stay near occupied lifeguard towers. Rock jetties can be deadly in such conditions, stay off the rocks. Seek shelter inside a fully enclosed building or car with metal roof if lightning is in the area and wait until the lightning has left the area.
