THROUGH SUNDAY EVENING FOR GUSTY WINDS AND LOW HUMIDITY FOR
PORTIONS OF NORTHEAST CA AND WESTERN NV...
* CHANGES...Reduced duration of Red Flag hours. Added overnight
recoveries to the humidity section.
* Affected Area...Fire Weather Zone 270 Surprise Valley
California, Fire Weather Zone 278 Eastern Lassen County,
including the Biscar Fire, Fire Weather Zone 458 Northern Washoe
County, including the Macy Fire.
* Winds...Southwest 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 35 mph.
* Humidity...Afternoon minimums 6 to 10 percent Friday though
Sunday. Overnight recoveries 25 to 45 percent each night through
Monday morning.
* Duration...3 to 7 hours Friday and Saturday afternoon. 3 to 6
hours Sunday afternoon.
* Impacts...The combination of gusty winds and low humidity can
cause fire to rapidly grow in size and intensity before first
responders can contain them.

vegetation, such as yard work, target shooting, or campfires.
