* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...West Central Jefferson County in central Colorado... * WHEN...Until 1215 AM MDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 921 PM MDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Up to 1 inch of rain has fallen. - This includes the following streams and drainages... Bear Creek. Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is expected. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Evergreen and along Bear Creek
Instruction: 
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause minor flooding of creeks and streams, roads and roadside culverts. The heavy rains could also trigger rock slides or debris flows in steep terrain.
