Description:
At 1248 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a couple strong
thunderstorm 8-16 miles southwest of Grand Junction, moving
northeast at 25 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Grand Junction, Orchard Mesa, Whitewater, Glade Park, Redlands,
Clifton, and Fruitvale.
This includes the following highways...
Interstate 70 in Colorado between mile markers 24 and 33.
U.S. Highway 50 in Colorado between mile markers 32 and 42.
Colorado 141 between mile markers 149 and 160.
