Description:
At 1250 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Rico, or 30 miles northwest of Durango, moving northeast at 30 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Rico and Trout Lake.
This includes Colorado 145 between mile markers 41 and 66.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
