At 325 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a line of strong thunderstorms extending from over Elizabeth to 5 miles southeast of Simla, or extending from 32 miles southeast of Denver to 21 miles southwest of Limon, moving northeast at 15 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Elbert, Elizabeth, Kiowa, Simla, Matheson, Ponderosa Park and Fondis.
