The National Weather Service in Grand Junction has issued a Fire Weather Watch for gusty winds, low relative humidity and dry fuels, which is in effect from Monday afternoon through Monday evening. * AFFECTED AREA...In Colorado, Fire Weather Zone 200 Little Snake Forecast Area. * TIMING...For the Red Flag Warning, until midnight MDT tonight. For the Fire Weather Watch, from Monday afternoon through Monday evening. * WINDS...Southwest 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 50 mph. * RELATIVE HUMIDITY...11 to 16 percent. * IMPACTS...Elevated fire danger is expected. Fires will catch and spread rapidly and erratically.
