Description:
* AFFECTED AREA...Fire Weather Zones 220, 221, 222, 223, 224,
227 and 228.
* WINDS...Southwest 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 55 mph today
across the higher elevations and gusts up to 40 mph across the
lower elevations. Southwest winds 15 to 30 mph with gusts up to
40 mph on Tuesday.
* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 5 percent.
* IMPACTS...Extreme fire danger is expected. Fires will catch and
spread rapidly and erratically.

are either occurring now, or will shortly. A combination of
strong winds, low relative humidity, and warm temperatures can
contribute to extreme fire behavior.
