Description:
At 500 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy
rain have moved across the Middle and South Aspen Acres Burn Scar. Up
to 0.7 inches of rain have fallen in the Muddy Creek Basin with up to
a half inch falling across a larger portion of the southern Aspen
Acres Burn scars. Flooding impacts will continue until the water has
a chance to recede. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly. Excessive rainfall over the burn scar will result in debris
flow. The debris flow can consist of rock, mud, vegetation and other
loose materials.
HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing
flash flooding in and around the Middle and South Aspen
Acres Burn Scar.

Saint Charles River, Muddy Creek and its tributaries, Spring Branch
and South Creek and its tributaries.
Instruction:
This is a life threatening situation. Heavy rainfall will cause
extensive and severe flash flooding of creeks...streams...and ditches
in the Middle and South Aspen Acres Burn Scar. Severe debris flows
can also be anticipated across roads. Roads and driveways may be
washed away in places. If you encounter flood waters...climb to
safety.
